Providenciales, 22 May 2015 – Public holiday on Monday and preceding that, the annual South Caicos Regatta on Friday and Saturday. It is confirmed that boat races are again this year sponsored by the Office of the Premier; the Premier as the former minister for culture had taken on this prize giving. Friday traditionally sees a showcase of talent with a new Regatta Queen being crowned.
