Providenciales, 26 May 2015 – A man is in custody following the death of a woman at Dock Yard near Kew Town yesterday.
About 2:56pm (Monday 25 May 2015), emergency services were called to a home in Dock Yard after reports of a woman had been injured at the property.
Officers attached to various units arrived to find the body of a 44-year-old woman who appeared to have suffered severe injuries to her body. Doctors arriving on scene examined the woman and later pronounced her dead.
A crime scene was established at the home, which was examined by forensic specialists and detectives.
Following further inquiries a 25-year-old man was arrested in the down town area of Providenciales shortly before 4pm.
