Fisheries town meetings begin tonight in Five Cays
“When we catch these small fish, we catch them in their breeding stages, so if you catch them in their breeding stages and enjoy them on our plates, there is nothing for the future. So we have to preserve those things, we are not just looking at the fish size but the conch stock, we’re looking at the lobster, we’re looking at all of these things so that we have these resource and delicacies for the future.”
The next meeting is Monday in South Caicos at DEMA at 7pm.
