Providenciales, 28 Apr 2015 – Vaccination Week in the US means vaccination week in the Turks and Caicos and the Ministry of Health, Agriculture and Human Services revealed a list of venues for vaccines… today at Ona Glinton Primary in Grand Turk and home visits in Five Cays in Provo. There will be home visits in the Bight on April 29th and activities at the Eliza Simons Primary school in Grand Turk. Friday May 1st, May Day, there will be vaccinations in Blue Hills and in South Caicos on May 4th, there will be home visits and activities at Calvary Christian School. Since the program’s launch in 2003, over half a billion people worldwide have been vaccinated and in the Turks and Caicos, the focus is on children six months to six years old… the vaccinations are to protect from more than 20 VPDs or vaccine preventable diseases.
