Providenciales, 30 Apr 2015 – At last check, there was still no identity on the remains found in Grand Turk two weeks ago today. Police did tell media, family and the public that they will not be rushed and that a batch of special forensics tests will be performed on the remains before any information is released. It was unclear, even to the police at the time whether that would be done by the local pathologist or outside expertise. There were wild speculations about the condition of the body found in the Breezy Brae area on that fateful Thursday morning; many believe it to be the only missing person reported on the island of Grand Turk, 25 year old Kevino Smith and many believe the body was found severed. The investigators, now led by DCP Rodney Adams, would not reveal any information in a press conference held the day after the find.
