Providenciales, 23 Apr 2015 – Grand Turk’s Delano Williams will be attending the upcoming IAAF World Relays to be staged in Nassau, Bahamas as a part of Team Great Britain. Williams is named as a competitor in the 4x400m relay; Great Britain only competing in the 4x100m and 4x400m men and women’s racing events, not the 200m or 800m medleys. The team of 22 sees this experience in nearby Bahamas as preparation for the 2016 Olympics. This is the second year Nassau will host the gathering; this year Usain Bolt of Jamaica, and the world’s fastest man, is expected to compete. The IAAF/BTC World Relays are set for May 2-3 at the Thomas A Robinson National Stadium.
