Providenciales, 23 Apr 2015 – The Turks and Caicos continues to bask in the glory of being declared by Trip Advisor as having the world’s best island – Providenciales. Tourism Minister, Hon Porsha Smith called it excellent, adding that this is a “…testament of the hard work by staff of the Tourist Board and across the departments in promotion of the TCI brand.” Hon Smith added, “It speaks volumes of our tourism industry which is vital to our economy. The only way is up for tourism of these ‘Beautiful by Nature’ islands.” Provo climbed from the #2 spot last year to gain this accolade in the Trip Advisor 2015 Travellers Choice Awards.
