Providenciales, 15 Apr 2015 – Climatologists from Colombia State University are first out of the gate with 2015 Atlantic Hurricane Season predictions; and while the forecast is for a slow season, the Department of Disaster Management and Emergencies, DDME is recommending readiness. The CSU forecasters predict seven named storms, three hurricanes of which one will be a major hurricane; that means category three status or above.
