Providenciales, 10 Apr 2015 – Islandcom is calling it an exciting journey as the company, which recently sold its assets including that highly coveted LTE license to LIME, this week informed customers via email of the change. The plan, according to the letter, is to smoothly transition customers into the LIME network with the opportunity to keep current cell phone numbers. “A dedicated team is in place working around the clock to ensure that we are able to welcome you to the LIME network as soon as possible while minimising the impact of this transition by offering you the ability to keep your current phone numbers on LIME’s network.”

Additionally, Islandcom explains that it is confident that its former rival is making the kind of investment to keep customers happy. “LIME recently upgraded Turks and Caicos through their $11m upgrade investment of their network and their recent acquisition of Columbus International also promises to give you, our customers an expanded portfolio products/services including TV.” For now, Islandcom continues to operate as usual and promised to keep its customers up to speed with information.
