Providenciales, 27 Apr 2015 – Since February, AVON has discontinued selling its beauty products to 16 Caribbean countries citing a significant drop in sales and a strategic move to shore up its US market… this included the Turks and Caicos Islands. Manager of External communications, Lindsay Fox said AVON would no longer take orders from the Caribbean countries after February 20 despite having some 6.4 million sales agents in 100 countries. Among the countries where you can no longer order AVON are The Bahamas, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Bonaire, Curaçao, Dominica, Grand Cayman, Guyana, Haiti and the TCI. It seems sales for AVON has dropped in sales 11%, which equates to nearly $400 million in losses. Despite this, at least one agent we have spoken to said she has managed to continue her services to local AVON clients.
