Providenciales, 16 Mar 2015 – What a team. The Rising Stars basketball club spent Saturday morning off the hardwood of the gym’s court and in the hot sun of the surrounding area collecting garbage. The group of 30 boys collected 100 bags of trash in an effort to teach the young players the value of keeping their surroundings clean. Photos posted by PTV8 Sportscaster and Rising Stars mentorship coodinator, Darron Hilaire are drawing praises for the program and the initiative. Hilaire said next up for the group is a Primary school basketball tournament slated for the end of the month.
