More Marketing in TCI for Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival

Providenciales, 19 Mar 2015 – Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival contingent from the Ministry of Tourism today arrived in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. It is the second group into the TCI in under a week to promote the upcoming, inaugural Bahamas Carnival festival: In the Spirit of Junkanoo set for April 17-18 in Grand Bahama and May 7-9 in Nassau.

The one day visit will include a press conference today at Blue Haven Resort & Marina and a showcase tonight at the Island Fish Fry at 8pm; where the notion of the Bahamas Junkanoo carnival will be pitched and yes, performed.

It is believed, Bahamas Tourism Minister, Hon Obie Wilchcombe is leading the delegation.
