Hon. Sean Astwood out of ICU, recovering well

Providenciales, 11 Mar 2015 – A combination of positive factors has led to the Hon Sean Astwood, Member of Parliament for Five Cays being discharged from the Intensive Care Unit of Doctors Hospital in Nassau. The 41 year old is on his way to full recovery, as reports are late last week Hon. Astwood was talking and telling family and friends he is ready to return home. While we do not have details or a prognosis for the Deputy Leader of the PDM and Provo Businessman; Magnetic Media has been informed that Astwood may not have suffered a stroke but was in dangerous territory health wise; his progress in recovery is seen by those closest to him as a blessing.

While the nation was already asked to pray for the health of Astwood, last Wednesday a prayer service was held in his constituency organized by church leaders and residents of the area. At the service, Bishop Bryant Cox and other pastors declared the next report on Hon. Astwood would be a good one. On Thursday during the opening of the House of Assembly; there were well wishes extended to the Member by other representatives. The Governor also used his time in the House, during the Throne Speech, to express his desire that Hon Sean Astwood should make a speedy recovery.
