Providenciales, 30 Mar 2015 – Sandals Foundation and Nutrition in Demand are on a healthy eating tour of Provo primary schools; first stop was Enid Capron in Five Cays last week. PR Manager for Beaches Resort, Elanor Finfin Krzanowski said: “Teaching the importance of healthy eating to the students of our sponsored schools is a priority for the Sandals Foundation. A well-rounded education not only includes academics but also the knowledge of how to maintain a physical healthy lifestyle.” Over 500 students were a part of the presentation on healthy eating during this National Nutrition Month. Proceeds from the Move A thon held in January by Nutrition in Demand go toward sponsoring these educational sessions on better eating from an early age. Tamika Handfield of Nutrition in Demand explained: “Working along with Beaches afforded us the opportunity to speak to over 500 students of the Enid Capron School about the importance and benefits of eating a healthy breakfast each day.” Next stop is Ianthe Pratt Primary in The Bight.
