Providenciales, 20 Feb 2015 – It has been a decade for the Regent Palms Resort in the Turks and Caicos – the property opened on February 19 in 2005. CEO of the Hartling Group, developer of the property, Stan Hartling was on hand yesterday to present long serving staff with rewards for their longevity; that happened at a luncheon. As many as 71 staffers were honored last night in a tribute dinner in the ballroom of the resort; all 71 have been with the Regent Palms since day one. Stan, as he is affectionately called on island, said the milestone is tremendous for the company: “Over the past ten years, we’ve always looked for better ways to do things, whether it’s by implementing a new way to look at our guest needs and expectations or through our unique training program for new hires. We’ve pioneered a true partnership with our staff and we set the bar only by what we believe defines greatness.

I am immensely proud to be leading a team of people who strive for perfection every day and relentlessly work to build the best brand in the Caribbean, and deliver incredible service to our owners and guests.” Among the accolades for the Regent Palms are World’s Best Spa Resort, Caribbean’s Leading Resort, top General Manager of the Year Worldwide in Karen Whitt, who is also the 3rd Vice President of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association. Congratulations on 10 Years for the Regent Palms.
