Providenciales, 02 Feb 2015 – The body of Dr. Rosita Butterfield, the first woman speaker elected to the House of Assembly will arrive in Grand Turk today and will be met at the JAGS McCartney International Airport by current Members of the House. The body will be chartered into the capital onboard Caicos Express from The Bahamas. After a ceremony at the airport; her body will be taken to the NJS Francis Building where it will lie in state until tomorrow. The hours given are from 1:00PM to 12:00MIDNIGHT today and from 8:00AM to 2pm on Tuesday; after which Dr. Rosie’s body will be brought into Provo. The State Funeral of the former nurse and three-term Member of Parliament is set for this coming Thursday at 10am at the Down Town Ball Park.
