Providenciales, 18 Feb 2015 – So far $700 have been donated to TCI cuisine and culture icon, Bugaloo who remains in Havana, Cuba recuperating after a successful surgery last month. Mike Stolow, partner in Bugaloo’s Conch Crawl restaurant in Five Cays told Magnetic Media that there has been little support for Berlie ‘Bugaloo’ Williams, but that they are hoping for more donations toward the medical costs at the Circa Garcia hospital and even financial help for Bugaloo’s physical therapy at home is still welcomed. Doctors removed the herniated discs in Bugaloo’s spine which were pinching nerves and cutting his brain off from his body; those are now replaced with rubber discs.

Since the delicate surgery, Bugaloo has regained use of his arms and legs but has lost a lot of muscle. Bugaloo returns this weekend to Provo; Mike Stolow shared that his home is also in bad shape; in need of completion and that perhaps residents will want to help out there. Again, you can donate to Bugaloo’s or Berlie Williams account directly at RBC bank.
