Providenciales, 26 Jan 2015 – Icy weather in the north is good for bookings on holidays to the Caribbean, including the Turks and Caicos Islands; not so good is when snowy conditions become so severe it forces the cancellation of flights. Airlines like West Jet out of Canada are already warning paid passengers to check their flight bookings to ensure there is no cancellation of their flight. As many as 1,900 flights were expected to be cancelled into and out of the East Coast for today; another 1,800 could be scrapped tomorrow. News reports say new bookings will be made for travellers without penalty.
