Still taking donations for Community College

Provienciaes, 21 Jan 2015 – Pledges are still welcomed says the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College Foundation as the organization continues to bring big bonuses through big fundraisers. Recently, a Cheque for $24,587 was presented to the College as a result of that October fundraiser at the Regent Palms Resort. Karen Whitt was event chairperson.

“We’ve extended our charge just a little bit to the point of awareness and community relations and public relations and we are trying to do some things now that would not only generate funding, however it would demonstrate to the community the types of activities and things that we want to do and are doing to help raise the awareness of this very important institution.”

Treasurer of the Foundation, Keno Forbes said some pledges are still outstanding.

“It’s not too late, if you still want to donate to educate and be great we are still accepting donations 365 days a year. We will be happy to take your donations, take your advice or anything you have to improve the Community College that we all love and that’s an integral part of the Turks and Caicos Islands.”
