The Ministry of Education has identified two international opportunities the can help local residents by assisting with Scholarships or Financial aid.

They are as follows:

The Ministry for Development Cooperation and the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation in Belgium is offering 150 scholarships for participation into master’s degree and 70 scholarships for participation into the training programmes. Scholarships are open to young professionals from developing countries and are available to pursue postgraduate courses and training programmes for 2015-2016 academic years at Belgium universities. Application deadline is 11 February 2015.

Who Can Apply?

– Candidates must reside and work in their country.
– Candidates must be less than 40 years old for courses and less than 45 years old for training programmes.
– Candidates must be holders of a degree that is comparable to a Belgian University graduate degree.
– Candidates should be a professional experience of at least two years.
– Candidates must have a good knowledge of written and spoken French.

-The academic curriculum
-The benefit of previous scholarships
-Professional experience
-Membership of a partner institution
-The commitment of the candidate to development activities
-Nationality
-Gender equality
-Perspectives of future reinstatement

The University of Sydney takes great pleasure in announcing the Sydney Achievers International Scholarships for new international students commencing at the University in 2015. Scholarships available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degree program at University of Sydney. Scholarship covers AUD$10,000 each per annum (ie, $15,000 in total for a 1.5 year program, $20,000 in total for a 2 year program). Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. The deadline of application is 6 February 2015.

Who Can Apply?

For undergraduate: Applicants should have completed an international senior secondary qualification, as deemed by the University of Sydney.
– Students who have already completed tertiary studies or students transferring with credit exemptions are not eligible.

For postgraduate: Applicants must have completed the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor degree, as deemed by the University of Sydney.
– Students who have already completed postgraduate studies, or students transferring with credit exemptions, are not eligible.

Scholarship Benefits –

For undergraduate: AUD$10,000 each per annum, available for the CRICOS registered duration of a recipient’s program of study, for any Undergraduate program offered at the University of Sydney
-For postgraduate: AUD$10,000 each per annum (i.e. $15,000 in total for a 1.5 year program, $20,000 in total for a 2 year program), available for the

CRICOS registered duration of a recipient’s program of study, for any Postgraduate program offered at the University of Sydney.
– No living allowance is payable.

Selection Based On – Selection is on the basis of academic merit as per the University’s admission requirements.

Application Procedure-

– No separate application is required for the scholarship. Applications for Admission to Semester One 2015 are now open. To apply, visit our FIND A COURSE website.
– To be considered for the Sydney Achievers International Scholarship, a candidate must receive an Unconditional Offer of Admission.
– All eligible applicants with an unconditional offer by a specified cut-off date will be considered. From that pool, top-ranked eligible applicants will be selected and invited to complete an Expression of Interest form. All those returning a completed EOI form by the due date will be further considered, from which successful candidates will be selected and then offered the scholarship by email.

Notification on- Applicant will be notify after 6 February 2015 by mail.
