Providenciales, 12 Dec 2014 – The Labour Court has ordered Tropical Auto to pay Nicola Jengten thirteen thousand dollars plus in compensation; this after Jengten a former worker at the business won her unlawful dismissal suit against the car sales and rentals company owned by Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon Josephine Connolly. The verdict and the payment order did not sit well with Hon Connolly, who had to be quieted by the President of the tribunal we understand… we spoke to Hon Connolly yesterday, she expressed an outrage at the decision and is vowing to take the matter to a higher court.
