Providenciales, 08 Dec 2014 – Great events reaping great support on the weekend… The Women in Sport Gala to honor Sonia Bien Aime scored big; pioneering broadcaster and guest speaker, Ann Chatz of Portland was riveting in her charge to the packed room at the Regent Palms Resort. Also nicely played was the clean-up in Five Cays early Saturday morning led by Member for the area, Hon Sean Astwood; last night, hundreds again turned out for the annual Kiwanis Tree Lighting Ceremony in down town, Providenciales and across the street the Turks and Caicos Basketball Federation was hosting the finals of its international tournament. It welcomed teams from The DR, Haiti, Jamaica and The Bahamas.
