Providenciales, 18 Dec, 2014 – The Government got its budget supplementary passed through the House of Assembly with some modifications; a proposal to get an additional $5.5 million dollars to run the country’s affairs did not go without a hitch, but it seems the biggest problem was actually providing details to the Members of the House of Assembly in writing so that the debate on the extra funds could happen.
Among the allotments was nearly $1 million dollars more to the Office of the Premier, $118,000 more for the Governor’s Office and nearly $270,000 more to the Attorney General’s Office.
