BLUE HILLS MEMBER STILL CALLING FOR NATL THINK TANK

Providenciales, 15 Dec 2014 – The two year or mid-term analysis of the current government is leading to a lot of ridiculing headlines for the PNP Administration. Hon Goldray Ewing, the member for Blue Hills said passing the National Agenda bill with near unanimous support in the House of Assembly in the first two years of the PNP was apparently a waste of time.

“This would have included many think tank sessions and presentations, in the areas of strategic planning, immigration, public health, economic diversification, crime fighting measures, crown land policy, utilities and national resources, large infrastructure development, population policy and constitutional review.” The PDM Member in a Friday media release explained: “This is very important to the planning of sustainable future growth of the country, setting ethical standards and lifting the quality of living for all our people…

But because the National Agenda was never adopted or implemented , even though it passed through the House of Assembly with 99% of the votes, it was still pushed aside, and so I pressed on.” House of Assembly debate today begins at 10am and is aired on national radio.
