Beginning today (November 6), NOAA’s National Hurricane Center (NHC) and Office for Coastal Management (OCM) will host new high-resolution interactive national inundation risk maps and data via an online web mapping service.
This new education and awareness tool permits anyone living in hurricane-prone coastal areas along the U.S. East and Gulf Coasts to evaluate their own unique risk to storm surge.
