Providenciales, 23 Oct 2014 – UNESCO will be sponsoring the citations and trophies at this year’s Caribbean Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Kingston, Jamaica where Bahamian Ronnie Butler will be among those honored and inducted for his contribution to Caribbean culture in music.
Garnett Reid, Executive Director of the Caribbean Development for Sports, Arts and Culture, explained the event is hosted under the patronage of Excellencies The Most Honorable Sir Patrick Allen, Governor General and The Most Honorable Lady Allen. Also to be inducted this year: Anthony Davis aka Beenie Man; Shauna Mckenzie- Morris, aka Etana; David Rudder of Trinidad & Tobago; Omar Reuben Riley, aka Taurus Riley and Ronnie Butler of The Bahamas.
