Providenciales, 29 October 2014 – A trough of low pressure extending from near the northern Leeward Islands northeastward over the Atlantic for a few hundred miles is producing a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
Upper-level winds are currently marginally conducive, and some development of this disturbance is possible during the next day or so while it moves west-northwestward to northwestward at 10 to 15 mph. After that time, conditions are forecast to become unfavorable for tropical cyclone formation.
