Providenciales, 30 Oct 2014 – Regional HIV/AIDS programs want to hit a goal of 90-90-90. Aldora Robinson, who recently returned from the meeting which was held in Trinidad and Tobago shared that “this meeting targets the aim of increasing to 90 percent the proportion of people who know their status, increasing to 90 percent the proportion of those who are HIV positive and on antiretroviral treatment and to 90 percent the proportion of those who are HIV positive with a suppressed viral load.”

The National Aids Programme Coordinator, brought the welcome remarks and shared that this session entertained dialogue on “the need for the removal of punitive and discriminatory laws”… the organizations believe these laws can “infringe on the human rights of key populations”… it is believed the regional gathering, held October 23-24 will build consensus on efforts toward this goal.
