National Tourism Strategy Moves to Public Meetings

Providenciales, 20 Oct 2014 – GET INVOLVED — Natl Tourism Strategy moves to public meetings phase beginning Wednesday in Grand Turk. Already exit questionnaires are being completed by visitors to the country with robust participation.

Minister of Tourism, Premier Rufus Ewing this morning encouraged input.

KPMG Managing Director, Gary Brough explained his team wants a strong sampling of ideas, suggestions and experiences for the final report. This analysis will be presented to Government as recommendations for growing and sustaining a viable tourism industry for years and years to come.

Also on hand TCHTA Executive, Stacy Cox and Tourist Board Director, Ralph Higgs who agreed that the exercise enables the TCI to explore ways to remain a leading vacation destination.

The exit survey and its 20 questions does double duty by getting direct feedback from customers; ie, visitors to the island.
