Providenciales, 13 Oct 2014 – Fourteen countries are on alert due to Tropical Storm Gonzalo which formed in the Atlantic over the weekend… with winds at 60mph, the system which is moving west at 10mph is expected to gain strength as it barrels through the Leeward islands today.

Puerto Rico, the USVI and British Virgin Islands are likely to experience hurricane conditions by Tuesday… as much as 12 inches of rain is expected to fall. TS Gonzalo which is significantly stronger this morning, than it was last night appears to be moving in a direction that it will pass just below our islands…nonetheless we are asked to closely monitor this one.
