Providenciales, 10 Oct 2014 – The concerns for our tourism future take center stage this morning and for three hours when KPMG hosts a workshop for tourism stakeholders to keep it real and be honest about their greatest fears for the nation’s number one industry.

It is a fragile and fickle resource… and for the Turks and Caicos, which is leading in tourism arrivals growth for the region this year, government is focused on sustainability. Among those attending this critical session are: PS from the Office of the Premier, Wesley Clerveaux; Director of Tourism, Ralph Higgs; Chairman of the Tourist Board, Kingsley Been; Product Development Officer with the Tourist Board, Brian Been; the President and Executive Director of the TCHTA, Michel Nuetelings and Stacy Cox and the team from KPMG led by Managing Director, Gary Brough.

The theme for today’s convening: Case for Change. Mr. Brough explained: “The aim of the session is to identify the issues at the core of this project which will help the working committee maintain focus during the strategic planning process.”
