CARIBBEAN WIDE GATHERING FOCUSES ON WATER

Nassau, 06 Oct 2014 – Scores of public and private sector delegates are assembled at Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island for the 23rd Caribbean Water and Wastewater official opening gala.

The ceremony to launch the week long Conference and Exhibition has already seen the march in of regional member country flags, the performance of the Bahamas All Stars, music by the Royal Bahamas Defence Force and remarks by Bahamian Senator Joseph Curry.

A Turks and Caicos delegation is also attending.

Turquoise Morning is covering the event which features over 60 booths and sessions including a PAHO Workshop on Climate Change and a best tasting water in the Caribbean competition.

A ribbon cutting is tonight.
