Turks and Caicos Islands In The Guinness Book of World Records

The Turks and Caicos Islands is now listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for its participation in a worldwide day of regattas. Sailing associations around the globe all held a regatta in their home towns… for the effort, the international body saw all of its members inducted.

There were 45 sailors and 25 boats participating at the Bight Park on Sunday according to the Minister who got table tapping support for the TCI team. Another young person in the news from the House, when Premier and Tourism Minister Rufus Ewing congratulated Junior Tourism Minister Brittany Missick for a stellar showing at the Youth Congress held in St Thomas during that State of the Industry Conference.
