Providenciales – A late night wrap up for the first town hall meeting of the Constitutional Review Committee, with residents stating their objections, giving their ideas and asking clarification on various elements of the 2011 Turks and Caicos Islands Constitution. Among the concerns same sex marriage, trial by jury, the make-up of parliament and the limited power of the finance minister due to the entrenched role of a UK appointed Chief Financial Officer. The meeting in Grand Turk went until around 11pm, Provo residents get their opportunity on Thursday at the Gus Lightbourne Gym at 6pm.
