$50,000 Investment For New Beginnings Continuous Education

Providenciales – A Canadian company, Flight Centre, which is a business partner and friend of the Beaches Resort Villages and Spa and the Sandals Foundation yesterday toured the school which their donation helped to refurbish… it was an over $50,000 investment for around 27 students to feel more comfortable in their educational environment.

Before, New Beginnings Continuous Education was in disrepair… old computers, broken down doors, no staircase to mount the institution which is set on a rocky ridge near the old Paradise Baptist Church and fresh paint with inspiriting words … made the students beam.

The EHS Team of Beaches did the heavy labour… but Heidi Clarke of the Director of Sandals Foundation and Gregg Dixon, President of Flight Centre were impressed and thrilled to transform the site in Five Cays. Education Minister Akierra Missick said nothing could top this donation and the feeling of another successful public private partnership. Also helping to make the day special the ACW: Anglican Church Women and on board for years now the Salvation Army, Paradise Baptist Church and both the Ministries of Education and Home Affairs.
