For right now, residents may have to be patient and accept the quick fix remedies offered to the bad roads and poor infrastructure on the island of Providenciales.
Minister of Government Support Services, Hon. George Lightbourne recently admitted that he is aware of the public’s cry and has been lobbying for more immediate response to address road situations but the task has been tedious.
Hon. Lightbourne added that contrary to what the public may believe he cannot just send someone to fix the roads as there are ‘red tapes’ to go through.
Lightbourne went on to explain that he also has a lot under his umbrella as Minister of Government Support Services, so the public just has to exercise a little more patience.
