A meeting was held recently between senior government officials and local manufacturing stakeholders to reconnect the key players in the industry and establish clear communication channels.
The meeting which was attended by representatives from the food and beverage industry to the steel farming and manufacturing sectors provided an exchange of views on how partnerships between government and stakeholders can be deepened and ultimately promote growth of local manufacturing.
The goal is to effectively compete with imported goods, to the point where surplus of locally made products can be exported.
