Filipino Association in the Turks and Caicos receives $3600 in donations

In a true spirit of harmony, locals have already started to show their support for the Filipino victims who are now living through the devastating effects of last Friday’s typhoon in the Philipines which claimed the lives of thousands.

President of the Filipino Association in the Turks and Caicos, Rizaldy Gregorio took to IGA on Sunday with his team and managed to chump up some $3600 for donations for fellow countrymen.

The Filipino representatives will be at the Leeward Highway IGA store until next Sunday and boxes will also be at the IGA Gourmet store in Grace Bay on that day.

Speaking to news break, Gregorio also informed that Digicel has hopped on board providing support where customers will be able to send text messages to support the cause.

Donation boxes are also available at Moneygram outlets islandwide.
