TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS, OCTOBER 24, 2013- The Turks and Caicos Community College Foundation will host its first major fundraiser on November 8 at the Regent Palms. Proceeds are directed at addressing some of the financial challenges that the college faces and meeting a number of objectives from the foundation which includes paying fees and maintenance allowances of deserving students. The event features a showcase of local talent with performances by the TCICC youth chorale, the Enid Capron School choir and popular artiste Mr. Julian Garland. Tickets are $100 and contribution brochures are also in circulation for individuals or businesses who wish to make a contribution. The event plans to establish a Hall of fame styled event which will give recognition to all significant donors annually.
