As part of the PDM’s plan to visit as many government services department as possible the PDM last week visited the Her Majesty Prison on Grand Turk.
Upon visiting the prison , Party leader and Leader of the Opposition. Hon Sharlene Cartwright-Robinson discovered that a section of the prison is apparently on private property.
The government in recent times has been accused of squatting with quite a few of their structures including the Clement Howell High School going over on private property and recently had to agree to pay a settlement of over a million dollars for a similar situation in North Caicos.
