TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS, OCTOBER 23, 2013- TCIG announced the new fees for visa and work permits… For visas- the cost of a single entry visa will be $150 and a student visa will be $300. While there is a slight dip, there is now a non-fundable application fee of $100. There is also a new seaman’s visa which will cost $300 and a visa for a person to attend a charitable, sporting or religious event is $25; this means visiting pastors scheduled to preach, singers and missionaries for church events will pay this fee. Endorsements of spouses and or children on work permits will be $500 for each child or a spouse; up by $200. Resident permits for spouse of a Belonger will cost $500 and $300 for each child to be added. TCIG has also introduced regulations that require extensions or renewals of work permits to be made at least 30 days before the expiration date of the existing permit. Late applications will attract a penalty fee of $250. Again all fees and other changes come into effect November 1st, next week Friday.
