Prosperity, Jobs and Growth…That is the agenda for the senior civil servant responsible for the UK’s Overseas Territories who will arrive in the Turks and Caicos Islands from today until October 30.
Dr Peter Hayes, Director for the Overseas Territories in the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, will discuss these key issues with Premier Ewing and his Cabinet, Opposition figures, business people, civil servants and the public during his stay.
The meeting will also be a key ‘agenda setting’ session ahead of Premier Rufus Ewing and Governor Peter Beckingham’s trip to London to meet UK Ministers at the Joint Ministerial Council (JMC), which will be attended by all OT leaders, late November 2013.
