Secretary General for The Turks & Caicos Islands Football Association Sonia Bien-Aime, (TCIFA), travels to Port au Prince, Haiti, today.
She will attend the Caribbean Football Union Final Round of the U17 Women’s Competition as Executive Committee Member charged with the responsibility of women’s football development in the region.
Bien-Aime will meet with stakeholders of the game to discuss programmes and development opportunities for Haiti. Sonia Bien-Aime, who was voted into the FIFA Executive Committee in a co-opted position, was welcomed into the highest ranks of soccer’s governing body on Friday, May 31st at the historic 63rd FIFA Congress in Mauritius.
Next stop for Sonia…Zurich, Switzerland on Monday to attend her first official meeting of the FIFA Executive Committee.
