Power Bill to go up says Fortis in September
This is what Fortis TCI is informing customers. This is as a result of the recent increase in the Fuel Factor which has gone to $0.2276 since August from $0.2173 in previous months.
This current rate will reflect in September 2013 bills. Fortis explains that Fuel Factor is based on the price of fuel at the time purchased and is subject to fluctuating world market prices.
In the meantime Fortis, encourages customers to practice energy conservation as much as possible.
