MORE OPPORTUNITY FOR HAITIANS TO SERVE THEIR COUNTRY
HAITI,September 24, 2013-Defense Minister Jean-Rodolphe Joazile recently welcomed the first 41 recruits who will be the first members of the national military force that the President Michel Martelly wants to revive after some 18 years of dormancy. Joazile said they will spend three months working alongside Ecuadorean military engineers among the rice fields in central Haiti to repair roads and work on other public service projects in the country.
