GENERAL SITUATION: A BROAD RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE IN THE WESTERN ATLANTIC OCEAN CONTINUE TO SUPPORT BRISK WINDS AND FAIR CONDITIONS OVER MOST OF THE BAHAMAS.

 

SPECIAL WARNINGS: MARINERS AND BEACHGOERS SHOULD CONTINUE TO EXERCISE CAUTION DUE TO ROUGH SURF AND THE HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG EASTERN SHORELINES.

WEATHER: PARTLY SUNNY, WINDY AND WARM WITH FEW SCATTERED SHOWERS OR AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM MAINLY ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST BAHAMAS AND THE TURKS & CAICOS ISLANDS.   MAINLY FAIR AND BREEZY TONIGHT WITH THE CHANCE OF PASSING SHOWERS

WINDS: EAST TO SOUTHEAST AT 12 TO 18 KNOTS IN THE NORTHWEST BAHAMAS AND EASTERLY AT 15 TO 25 KNOTS IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST BAHAMAS AND THE TURKS & CAICOS ISLANDS.

SEAS: 3 TO 5 FEET OVER THE NORTHWEST BAHAMAS AND 5 TO 8 FEET OVER THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST BAHAMAS AND THE TURKS & CAICOS ISLANDS.
