#Bahamas, September 13, 2017 – Nassau – THIS IS A PUBLIC FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW WEDNESDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER 2017 ISSUED BY THE BAHAMAS DEPARTMENT OF METEOROLOGY AT 6PM. 

GENERAL SITUATION:  A SURFACE TROUGH CONTINUES TO LINGER NEAR THE NORTHWEST BAHAMAS PRODUCING POCKETS OF UNSETTLED WEATHER.

SPECIAL WARNINGS: MARINERS SHOULD CONTINUE TO BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE WATERSPOUTS.

WEATHER: PARTLY CLOUDY AND WARM WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH TOMORROW

ADVISORY: SMALL CRAFT SHOULD CONTINUE TO EXERCISE CAUTION IN SWELLS.   BOATERS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR GUSTY WINDS AND HIGHER SEAS IN OR NEAR HEAVY SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS.

WINDS: VARIABLE AT 10 KNOTS OR LESS OVER OPEN WATERS.

SEAS: 3 FEET OR LESS BUT UP TO 7 FEET IN MODERATE EASTERLY SWELLS OVER THE OCEAN.
