Providenciales, 20 Oct 2014 – Our Government on Friday made a statement on what the Turks and Caicos plans to do to protect residents and visitors from the dangers of the Ebola Virus. Following a Thursday afternoon meeting residents are warned by government not travel to five West African countries … you may find yourself unable to reenter the territory if you do.
The government issued that travel advisory where trips to Liberia, Guinea, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Nigeria are strongly discouraged. Twenty one days quarantine is also still in place for those travelling from those countries according to Health Minister, Porsha Smith. The Turks and Caicos remains Ebola free.
